Trigger Spring Oldest TC Contender
Freshen up your Trigger Spring with a new BELLM Trigger Spring for earliest generation, non easy open, TC Contenders. CNC designed and manufactured in the USA direct replacement for a worn or missing stock spring. Before ordering, verify that your trigger guard is the same as the one pictured above, ie will not work on later Easy Open Contenders.1ea. To install, first remove trigger group from frame. A 3/32 punch is needed to remove striker pin (51) and Trigger Pin (56). It is difficult to change out this spring without removing striker, you might as well replace this spring as well and be sure to clean the trigger guard while you have it out. Reassemble by using the 3/32 pin punch as alignment tool for trigger pin. The trigger will be under some tension and the trigger return plunger must detract, carefully align and install trigger pin. Next reinstall striker, similar instructions on Striker spring page. Function test by engaging striker and verify trigger releases striker. This is for the horizontal spring that pushes a broad head looking plunger, picture for reference so you can check to see the vintage of your receiver.
