New manufacture custom made to our specs from 1018 tool steel for a virtually un breakable replacement screw.Fits TC Contenders G1 selector lever, DOES NOT earliest Contenders below 195K serial number, (note the difference in the picture of the interlock safety for earliest Contenders)The original part was incredibly brittle and I've found a number of original frames where the factory used lock tight compounding the failure rate of this OEM screw.
There were several styles of these made over the years of production of the Contender, please compare the one you have to our picture, one of the other models are also available at Bellm TCs.
TIPS: If you have never maintained the interlock and spring and seems to be stuck, be sure to try the old soldering iron trick, I set a soldering iron on the head of screw for a good 10 minutes before attempting to loosen. When re installing, I use a small amount of grease on rotating part screw and spring cavity to hold spring and use small needle nose to align. I don't like to use lock tight on this screw but if you do decide to use something try a tiny amount of black RTV gasket maker. Replacement is simple, with barrel and trigger guard removed carefully unthread the stock screw and replace. I do not recommend using any thread locker.
