Bellm TCs now has a quality 4-40 drill and tap set for installing an over travel screw in your Encore or G2 contender.

The original Encore and Contenders came with an over travel screw installed. This critical screw controls how much travel will exist after the hammer has already been released. The ProHunters and G2 contenders did not have the over travel screw from the factory and so this is an easy upgrade for anyone familiar with drilling and tapping. Our drill and tap set gives you everything you need to accomplish this except a tap handle. If you need one please call to special order. Be sure to pickup some of our custom over travel screws to complete the job in no time.

I think it's important to emphasize drilling and tapping a no4 screw is for the experienced. It's a very small thread so be sure to use a good quality cutting oil and be careful to not break the tap or drill bit. If you are unsure if you can do this we do offer the service done for you. Call to request this.
