New custom heavy contour chrome-moly barrel, "stainless color" Cerakoted HUNTER MATTE finish, made by Mike Bellm. Chambered to his specs using his unique throating. Precision 11 degree crowned at an optimal 20 inch length.

He chambers all 6.8 SPC barrels with the added rim counterbore so you can also shoot a rimmed version of the SPC by simply running .30/30 Winchester brass through a 6.8 SPC size die, then trimming to standard 6.8 SPC length and shoot standard rimless or rimmed ammo interchangeably. Contact us for formed brass.

"I take a personal interest in helping set up guns for kids, folks with handicaps, and the lady hunting partners who just don't manage the full size guns dads, grandads, uncles & well meaning other big folks shoot. Keep the gun sized accordingly. Keep the recoil and muzzle blast down. Give the kids especially the opportunity to shoot well with the gun sized to fit them shooting moderate rounds, and 6.8 SPC and similar rounds are a great pick for the job.
Or, for yourself, it doubles as your quick and easy handling truck gun.
With proper game bullets, 6.8 SPC in a handy 20" barrel makes an easy, fun to shoot moderate range round for deer, similar to 7.62x39 Russian which is also in this category.
The firearms industry has a tendency to pump out the next latest, greatest round and then not continue to support shooters with ammo or brass if they have "bigger fish to fry". 6.8 SPC has not taken the world by storm, so if and when standard brass is not available, no problem. Fall back to making cases from .30/30s. Or, just enjoy the convenience of rimmed ammo from the start!"
