contender g2 fore end screws stainless steel 6-pack 10-32 NC
Save a few bucks and get all three common lengths, 3/8", 5/8" and 7/8". These are a stainless steel allen head cup screws for the G2 and Contender.If you have a length you need and you don't see it, contact us so we can quote delivery and length.NOTE: Do not use a screw that is too long & projects too far into the barrel channel. If the screw bottoms out on the flat milled in the barrel, it can literally pull the dovetail lock out of the slot, bending the ears of the slot open. Some forends countersink are too small for the head size of this screw, we do have custom made but not listed 5/8" stainless flat head call to order. Some of the original contender had a stainless cup by adding washers this can screw can adapt. You have to put the screw in the forend hole, site down the channel, and make sure the screw is not more than about .050" into the channel. Slots are typically about .070" deep in the barrel.
