CONTENDER SEAR PLUNGER

The Bellm TCs Contender Sear Plunger is a great upgrade for your Contender. Made from a pre hardened stainless steel to exacting standards our replacement sear plunger is not only made from a better material but it is also smoother and will function better than the factory plunger which is prone to wear damage. We chose the perfect grade of stainless steel as a replacement material for the soft carbon steel T/C used to use. Not only will our sear plunger resist corrosion better it is also smoother and designed to function better. Our plunger incorporates the vent hole just like the later model plungers.

Perfect replacement for any Contender of any age.

Replacement is super easy. With the barrel off the receiver, use a 3/32 pin punch to remove the sear pin. Remove the sear, plunger and spring. Now is a good time to clean and oil the cavity that houses the spring and plunger. Also a great time to replace the sear spring. Reinstall the spring and plunger then carefully line up the sear to the assembly punch, don't force the assembly pin until aligned perfectly. Another tip is to use a good quality gun oil not only in the sear plunger cavity but also on the sear and sear assembly pin.
