.41 Rem Mag fans, this one is for you!
Threaded 5/8-24 with thread protector and FREE Bellm TC's barrel sock.
This barrel is one I made from a barrel blank I cut rifled back when I was doing a lot of cut rifled reboring on P.O. Ackley's barrel machinery. It was an extra from the blanks I made for Texas Longhorn Arms for their custom single action revolvers with loading gate on the left side.
This straight wall cartridge, of course, meets the requirements of many states' deer season regulations.
TIP: Instead of seating bullets with the full shank of the bullet stuffed in the case so the round fits in a revolver cylinder, seat bullets out with only about .2" of the bullet shank in the case. This gives you the case capacity of the 1.6" long .414 Super Mag case without having to buy the limited availability .414 S.M.
brass.
With bullets seated out into the long cylindrical throat I cut, use .414 Super Mag revolver spec loading data. Or, if your normal shots at game are within 100-150 yard distances, you'll do well with standard .41 Rem Mag ammo.
