Performing a great trigger job on your Encore, ProHunter/Endeavor is just a few clicks away. This is by far our most popular package as lets face it, NO ONE is going to shoot their best with a heavy factory trigger pull. Our spring kits for the Encore platforms are known world wide for great results turning a clunky factory trigger into butter.
Drop-In spring kits for Encore ProHunter or Endeavor, increase accuracy and reliability with our essentials springs. Kit consists of one each of Bellm Heavy Duty Locking Bolt Spring, choice of Bellm Encore Trigger/Sear Spring, and Bellm "Speedlock" Hammer Spring, HD firing pin return spring, Trigger guard spring and now includes our Trigger return spring something our competitors don't even offer.
Speaking of competitors, don't be fooled by companies claiming to be T/C experts they LITERALLY plagiarized our product and I have proof of it. They ordered our spring kit off ebay, again I have the proof, then tried to copy it BUT their spring manufacture left out one key part of the ENGINEERING of the spring, a trade secret we kept to our chest and a trade secret we know from designing these springs over 20 years ago AND most importantly working on these guns from the time they hit the market. They have attempted to steal our customers and steal your hard earned dollars by charging you more, giving you less springs, not giving you a choice of trigger pull weight, and an inferior product. I get calls weekly about their springs failing after just a short period of time, often times not functioning correctly to begin with. It's a crazy world out there so PLEASE trust the experts that have been looking out for our customers for over 45 years. Where you spend your money matters! Ok I'll get off my soap box, but let me tell you from a man that lives and breaths these guns it's frustrating that they can get away with it but only if you let them.
Ok now on to the POSITIVE news, YOU CAN DO THIS! With our printed or FREE downloadable instructions a basic or even advanced trigger job is a breeze. Our 20 page trigger job manual walks you through the basic and advanced work needed to learn how to take your T/C apart clean and replace with our springs. You will learn the best practices for taking apart. You will learn from the pros HOW we put the frame back together. You will never feel left in the dark, I am here by phone email and text to help you through any troubles you might have and unlike others we do work on the guns all the time, we are your backup you can count on! I have your back no matter the problems you are facing.
Upgrade your TC Encore's or G2's performance with a Bellm Custom Spring Kit of your choice and save money.

6) NEW! Trigger Plunger Return Spring
Approximate pull Weights For each Sear Springs. #1 = 3 1/2 - 4 lbs., #2 = 3 - 3 1/2 lbs., #3 = 2 1/2 - 3 lbs., #4 = 2 - 2 1/2 lbs., #5 = 1 1/2 - 2 lbs., #6 = 1 - 1 1/2 lbs., #7 for fine tuning to the lightest pull weight advisable
Spring Kits #1 through #4 come with #44 HD speedlock hammer springs, #5 through #7 come with our #51 HD Speedlock hammer spring. Please understand these are approximates only and that every frame has the potential to vary a little based on a number of factors.
As described on the Heavy Duty Locking Bolt Spring page, the top surfaces of the locking bolts are on a slight angle. Thus more force to the locking bolts ensures a tighter lockup. This is especially important in Encore barrels which have:
1) A larger surface area on the locking bolts,
2) Far greater forces applied to the locking bolts from both the weight, and thus leverage, of the heavier Encore barrels and the far greater forces exerted from much higher intensity rounds than fired in the Contender or G2, YET...
3) The Encore uses the same exact factory issue locking bolt spring as the Contender & G2.
Your choice of Bellm Custom Trigger/Sear Spring in the one of the four most popular tensions, #1, #2, #3, in the weight range that is normally just a "drop-in" installation for novices and experienced gunsmiths alike.
Sear Springs #4,#5,#6,#7 often require modifying the sear notch. Never fear we do sell the correct tools to do this advanced work. Keep in mind the heavier the factory pull the less likely it may require the extra work PLUS we ALWAYS take care of our customers so if you happen to get an odd result, wish to go up or down in pull weight, just let us know and we will make sure to take care of you no matter what it takes.
Installation of the Heavy Duty Locking Bolt Spring requires a common 3/32" ROLL pin punch, listed in the Tools section, to knock out the "roll pin" or "spring pin" that retains the locking bolts in the barrel lug. Assembly and disassembly of the frame uses a common 3/32 pin punch, again available in the tools section.
After installation of the Heavy Duty Locking Bolt Spring, push the locking bolts in all the way and make certain the rear most end of the locking bolts is at least flush with the end of the barrel lug. Once in awhile a locking bolt spring hole is drilled a bit shallow, and the spring will compress all the way before the locking bolts are pushed back into the lug far enough to completely clear the inside of the frame during closing the barrel.
If the locking bolts cannot be pushed in completely flush with the end of the barrel, cut or grind off one end of the spring about 1/2 coil at a time until the locking bolts can be pushed in all the way.
Also, if you want a stronger lockup than the factory spring gives, but opening the barrel with an unaltered Heavy Duty Locking Bolt Spring requires more effort than you are comfortable with, you can shorten the spring some to make opening the barrel easier. Adjust its tension to suit your needs.
After installing the Bellm Custom Trigger/Sear Spring it is imperative that you perform the safety function checks detailed in our Encore Trigger Job Instructions available as a FREE download from the main www.bellmtcs.com website for joining our newsletter or in printed format.
The G2 is slightly different, but functionally the same as the Encore, so these instructions for the Encore apply to the G2 as well but this spring kit IS NOT universal to the G2, please order the G2 specific kit which we provide the correct springs for the G2 AND pre shorten the curved end of the sear spring.
In short, the hammer must be securely cocked and not readily pushed off with moderate thumb pressure, and the hammer must rebound to half cock when you remove your finger from the trigger. If the frame fails to pass either or both of these safety tests, corrective action MUST be taken before continuing to use the frame. Our competitors spring often times FAIL this test and since they have zero replacement options cannot fix the problem by simply providing a stiffer spring, we can and will take care of you.
Our Trigger/Sear Spring Installation Pliers, listed separately or as a KIT, is highly recommended not only for the initial installation of the Trigger/Sear Spring, but for reassembling the frame after routine cleaning. They keep the spring captive and make installation quite easy. You can use a slave pin if you choose but I've obviously tried it both ways and not only do I prefer to use the pliers I've found 1001 other uses for them. If you feel like you need them please take a look at the combo pliers and spring kit for the exact same price as the POSERS. We feel like they are by far the fastest and best way to install the sear spring and stand behind our products.
Why install our "SPEEDLOCK" hammer spring?
If you observe correct size die adjustment and maintain the recommended minimum headspace as described on the Bellm Headspace Indicator page linked from the menu bar to the left, and have cut only a very small amount from your hammer spring to get reliable rebounding of the hammer, the speedlock hammer spring is a must have.
If you shoot just factory ammo or military ammo and have been getting misfires, you should definitely choose use the 51 pound spring, especially if it is related to excess headspace but for almost all situations where trigger pull has not been reduced below 2lbs of pull our 44lbs hammer spring is more than adequate and it's benefit is in as much the strength of the spring as the DESIGN of the spring.
Note that installing a heavier hammer spring tends to produce a somewhat lighter pull weight due to the design of the sear and hammer mechanism.
The hammer spring can be installed in one of two ways, either after fully disassembling the frame or by simply unscrewing the hex nut that the grip or buttstock screw goes into. Remove this nut, and the hammer spring and its strut drop out. Since you are doing a trigger job you might as well take the frame apart and clean it, install the new springs when you put it back together.
After installation of the hammer spring you MUST verify that the hammer rebounds back to half cock every time you lower the hammer and remove your finger from the trigger. If it does not rebound to half cock, cut off a little at a time until the hammer will rebound to half cock every time. There should be about .2" of free travel of the hammer at its forward end of the stroke where there is no tension on it from the hammer spring.
One of the main reasons for the "Speedlock" Hammer Springs is to maintain as strong or stronger hammer fall after reducing the trigger pull weight and often having to shorten the issue hammer spring so it will let the hammer rebound to half cock.
Since we have no control over whether you read the instructions we give or how you perceive the instructions, users of any of these springs assume all liability for the results they obtain.
Our heavy duty firing pin return springs are heat treated and designed to absorb the impact of heavier hammer springs and repeated use. Because our springs are a larger wire diameter than the factory, headspace correction is recommended but these also work great as a stock replacement.
Ideal choice for next to stock pull and upgrade

So now you know where to get your Encore spring kits, you know that we will help you along the way AND you know who cares about you and your T/C having the best possible trigger pull. Your only choice now is which spring number to get. As a suggestion we do sell more of the No3 10:1 any other. It's the best all around choice for hunters, seldom if ever requires advanced honing and is just a dang nice pull compared to the factory trigger. But trigger pull is a preference and what ever you do just pick one that suits you best from the drop down menus above.
