Description
Replacement Locking bolts for Thompson Center G2 and Contender barrels.
This is the LEFT hand bolt, we do recommend replacement in pairs and a new BELLM TCS locking bolt spring.
Replacement is fairly straight forward, use a 3/32 Roll pin/pilot punch to punch out the 3/32 slotted roll pin that holds it in place. Never a bad idea to have some of the slotted pins on hand as they can bend easily if you are not careful.
Be sure to clean out the hole the spring goes in with a q tip until no oil or carbon comes out. You can use a slight amount of oil in the hole although I try to keep the bolt surface clean and dry. Reinstall the spring, install the bolts then compress until you can get a 3/32 pin or roll pin punch to align and hold in place. Next tap the aligning pin punch out of the way with the slotted roll pin that holds them in place.

NOTE: Before installing the barrel to the receiver be sure to function test verifying the bolts collapse flush against the lug of the barrel. Designed to replace G1 and G2 barrels, may not function correctly with
earlier production barrels.
