Thompson Center Contender and SSK50 Replacement Hammer Assembly.

If your hammer spur breaks or the firing pin detents go flying a replacement hammer is in order. Here's a great deal on a replacement hammer for your G1 contender or SSK50 frame.

Watch our Youtube video on installing a new Contender hammer. We now have 3/16 pin punches, 3/32 pin punch and replacement hammer springs and assembly pins in stock and ready to ship with the hammer.

We will try to keep these in stock however if the website shows out of stock please call to backorder.

UPDATE: We have determined a fix for fitting this newer style hammer to older, pre 195K serial number, frames. As a drop in they won't go back far enough to engage the sear. We were able to mill at a slight angle the metal directly behind

the hammer and were able to get them to work fine. In the last picture you can see the cut. As a service we can have this done for you with any trigger job on a contender sent in for an additional $80. Call to add to a trigger job/basic cleaning of a frame being sent in.
