Our new design fits all Encore variants including ProHunter, ProHunter Fx, endeavor and G2, and Contender over 195K serial number.
Our hammer extension uses a total of 3 set screws, 2 keyed into the grooves on the top of the hammer and the traditional screw from the side. Slots are centered in the extension, and the extension body is round instead of square like the older designs.
FITS ENCORES, G2, AND CONTENDER HAMMERS WITH THE SELECTOR ON TOP...... MEANING, IT FITS ALL VINTAGES OF HAMMERS IN THE BREAK OPEN LINE EXCEPT THE WIDER OLD STYLE CONTENDER HAMMERS WITH NO SAFETY OR THE SQUARE SLIDING CROSS BOLT SAFETY. Over tightening the set screw may bend the rather thin hammer spur shank. Our design makes it unnecessary to use excessive force tightening the main set screw on the side. TIRED OF CHEAP, "ONE SIZE FITS ALL" HAMMER EXTENSIONS THAT SIT TILTED ON THE GUN?
THE TWO SET SCREWS ON TOP LET YOU ADJUST THE HAMMER EXTENSION SO IT FITS LEVEL WITH THE GUN.
